La Chiocciola was born
20 years ago,
through an idea of Maria
Concetta Mercuri.
She successfully completed
a course  for operating “agriturismi” and in the year  2000 was finally able to realise  her dream,
 with the decisive help of her children.

La Chiocciola seeks to maintain and hand on the traditions of the Subiaco area and the family offers you healthy and genuine hospitality, local produce, and all the relaxation you need, far away from the stress of city life.

After Maria Concetta Mercuries gained her "AgriTourist Operator" certificate in 2002, the agriturismo was also certified by the Simbruini Mountains Natural Park in 2004. The Park
paid tribute to the quality of the accommodation,
and of the produce offered.
